Mat Pilates is a dynamic and transformative form of exercise that focusses on strengthening your core muscles, enhancing flexibility, and empowering overall body awareness. Hi, I’m Kelsy the owner and operator of Proform Pilates – Welcome!

About Kelsy
I’ve always had a deep passion for the fitness and wellness industry. My Pilates journey started in my early twenties when I held a physically and mentally demanding job. I discovered the transformative power of fitness and fell in love with how it made me feel. I would leave a class feeling fitter, leaner and mentally stronger.

 

Driven by a deep passion for the fitness and wellness industry, I decided to pursue a career in Pilates in 2019. When I took this leap, I knew I wanted to provide a safe, fun environment for people of all fitness levels. To do this, I knew it was important for me to have a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology and the associated pathologies. It was essential for me to be equipped to not only to teach advanced classes but also help people rebuild their fitness and confidence following an injury or post-partum.

I am an energetic, passionate, and motivated Pilates instructor committed to providing safe and enjoyable classes. My approach involves a full-body workout with a strong emphasis on form and posture. Whether you’re a seasoned Pilates enthusiast or a beginner, everyone is welcome in my classes.

 

Credentials and Certifications

I am a certified Matwork and Studio Equipment Pilates instructor. I have completed my Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology with Tensegrity Training. Education is a lifelong journey for me, and in 2022, I had the privilege of completing a mentorship program with the esteemed Lisa Jackson Pilates.

1 Casual Session – $22

If you’re looking for a one-time experience in matwork pilates, or want to join a friend book this session.

3 Intro Sessions – $45

Enjoy 3 introductory class sessions at a discounted rate. This is suitable for people wanting to get a taste of the class but aren’t ready to commit just yet.

5 Session Package – $90

Book the 5 session pack with us to really get into the fitness routine. We’ll work on your mobility, and flexibility.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

 All you need is towel, socks and water. Mats will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own mat if you would like.

What fitness level do I require?

There is no specific fitness level requirement. The classes are designed to be challenging for all fitness levels including pregant and postnatal women. (Can attend up to 16 weeks pregnant. Must be at least 3 months postnatal)

When and where are the sessions?

There are 1 weekly session at Vend MarketPlace 1768 Sandgate Road, Virginia 4014

7:15 AM – 8:00 AM (every Saturday)
